Neve Tzuf Update
Here’s the latest from our friends of Neve Tzuf in Israel:

Two months have passed since the arson attack designed to destroy the community of Neve Tzuf. As of now, every family is living in temporary housing, either in old caravans, rented homes or basements apartments. Actual work on the burned homes has not started yet. The area has not been cleared of the burned ashes and rubbish, and even the burned cars have not been cleared away.

The first priority has been to create a fund to assist and enable the 21 families that have lost everything to rebuild. The government agencies will not cover all of the expenses. A committee made up of social workers and financial planners that live in Neve Tzuf will oversee this fund and make distributions according to set criteria. Additional funds to improve and update the local Fire Fighting and Rapid Response teams are being collected in order to better prepare our community for arson terror attacks. Please see Steve Hilsenrath if you would like to make a donation.
