Mazal Tov to our dear members, Drs. Jonathan and Tamara Silver, on the Bar Mitzvah of their beloved son, Samuel. Mazal Tov to siblings Pnina, Nataliee and Emanuel and to the entire family. Also special shoutout to Samuel’s aunt, Michele Silver, back for the first time since her recent move.

Mazal Tov to our dear members, Dr. Steven and Karen Yager, on the birth of a baby boy born to their children, Rebecca and Mike Madar. Mazal Tov to big brother, Judah, to aunts and uncles Heather and Zack and Sara and Jonathan, to grandparents Yehuda and Leya Madar, and to the entire family. Shalom Zachor will be held IY”H this Friday night, at the Yager home, 901 Cedarhurst Street in North Woodmere at 7:45pm. The Bris will be held IY”H Thursday morning, February 9th at 7:30am at Young Israel of Great Neck.

Shabbat Kiddush and Seudah Shlishit
Kiddush for both minyanim as well as Seudah Shlishit this week are sponsored by Jonathan and Tamara Silver in honor of Samuel becoming a Bar Mitzvah. In addition, Seudah Shlishit is also sponsored by Mindy and David Bach in commemoration of the third yahrzeit of our beloved Philip Bach, Feivish Shmuel ben David, a”h.

YINW in conjunction with the greater North Woodmere community invites you to clear your palates and your schedules! On Friday night, February 3rd at 8:30pm at the Septimus home, 718 Sherwood Street, taste distinctive wines from Shiloh, Israel. Admission is free but the program is presented for the benefit of the One Israel Fund.

Sisterhood Karaoke Night
Only one week away! Next Motzei Shabbat, February 11th the YINW Sisterhood is hosting a karaoke night in the YINW Social Hall at 8:00pm. Cost is $5 for members, $10 for nonmembers if paid RSVP by February 9th. Add an additional $5 if after the 9th. Pay online at yinw.shulcloud.com/payment/php

Gearing Up for Purim
Once again, the YINW Sisterhood is organizing Purim Mishloach Manot! If you participated last year, you will automatically be included this year. If you are unable to pick up your basket, please let us know so that we can make a donation on your behalf. If you have not participated before, please contact us to join the list. If you prefer to be removed from this year’s list, contact us by March 1st, otherwise we will assume that you wish to continue being included.
